Independent research on Texas state politics.
Texas Policy Polling fields voter-file-matched panel research on the statewide and legislative races that shape Texas. Topline results, crosstabs, and full methodology released publicly. We publish what the numbers say — including when they cut against expectation.
Anchored, not abstract
Every respondent is linked to a verified Texas voter record. That means the same panel can be cut by district, age, party history, and turnout pattern — without re-weighting against external census assumptions.
Methodology lives next to the number
Sample frame, fielding window, instrument text, weighting, margin of error, and known biases — published with each release. If we can't show our work, we don't ship the result.
Legislature, runoffs, ballot measures
National polling already exists at saturation. Texas Policy Polling concentrates on state and district-level races that national pollsters skip — where most of the consequential politics actually happens.
